Da quest’anno, in Champions League, Europa League e Conference League, non è più valida la regola del gol in trasferta che vale doppio. Dagli ottavi, infatti, in caso di pareggio sia all’andata che al ritorno, si svolgeranno i tempi supplementari e, in caso, i rigori. Anche in Coppa Italia succederà questo.
Così come in Europa, anche in Coppa Italia non varrà più il gol doppio in trasferta dalla prossima stagione, a riportarlo è Il Messaggero. Le due semifinali tra Milan e Inter e Juventus e Fiorentina, dunque, saranno le ultime due gare con questa regola in vigore.
Nel 1965 era stata stabilita questa regola in Coppa Italia, dopo oltre 50 anni sarà cambiata.
