L’approdo in semifinale di Champions per il Milan ha dato vigore alle casse societarie e ora Maldini può pensare già al mercato estivo, portando in casa Milan nuovi giocatori per rinforzare la rosa.
In difesa, nonostante le ottime scoperte Thiaw e Kalulu, manca un terzino destro di ruolo per sfruttare ancora meglio la fluidità del Milan sulle fasce. Secondo il The Times infatti i rossoneri starebbero esaminando il profilo di Kyle Walker, terzino storico del Manchester City, nel pieno degli ultimi anni ad alto livello in carriera. Walker potrebbe dare la spinta necessaria a destra, cosa che è mancata con la stagione deludente di un Dest invisibile.
La strada per Walker è tutt’altro che spianata, si parla infatti dell’interesse di altri club europei come ad esempio l’Aston Villa. Sta ora a Maldini e Massara ponderare quanto investire per preparare l’assalto a uno dei migliori terzini inglesi dell’ultima generazione, sperando che la concorrenza si diradi sempre più e favorendo così lo sbarco del giocatore in casa Milan.
